Pablo Pugliese

Pablo Pugliese began his study of the Argentine Tango at the age of nine with his parents Esther and Mingo. Master instructors, Esther and Mingo, taught many of the new generation of professional Tango dancers.

At fourteen, Pablo won the Gold Medal in the Torneos Juveniles Bonaerences Championship organized by the Ministry of Government and Justice in Buenos Aires. He has since gone on to perform and teach master classes in cities across the United States and around the world, including: Tokyo, Paris, Madrid, Berlin and Hamburg.

He has been a dancer and choreographer for many shows. And was the Tango choreography advisor for Compania Tango Express under the direction of Claudio Hoffman and Pilar Alvarez and the musical direction of Daniel Binelli. Pablo has shared the stage with the renowned Tango musicians and composers, Hector Del Curto and Fernando Otero. He was also a member of Pablo Aslan's Avantango, with whom he performed at New York's Town Hall.

Pablo continued his dance education in both modern dance and ballet. He had a scholarship at the Alvin Ailey School for three years and for two consecutive summers at the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival.
