Orlando Reyes was born in Bogota, Colombia, where he has been acclaimed as One of the Best Representative Dancers of Colombia by the "Instituto Distrital de Cultura y Turismo de Bogota".

With a background in classical ballet, he has been dancing and teaching tango for the last twenty years. Orlando performed and taught in United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Aruba, Argentina, South Asia (Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines) and Colombia.

In New York City his most important performances include NY Tango Festival in 2007,"Mientras Tango", "Tango Connection" and "Tango Noir" and in 2007-2009 he joined Valetango Company for the shows "Tango Intimo" and "Tango por Ellos", which received the Latin ACE Award 2010 for Best Choreography. In 2018 Orlando won 2nd place at the tango competition "Pelando Variacion" in NYC.
