During his extensive career, Cesar has been involved with a myriad of artistic endeavors. His talents and strengths, a continuation of his family's prestigious and enduring international fame, are constantly evolving.

Among Cesar's most distinguished experiences:

o debut, at the age 17, as as a member of Juan Carlos Copes and Ana Maria Stekelman's dance troupe in Carlos Saura's Oscar nominated film "TANGO."

o principal dancer, between 1999 and 2007, in the Broadway production "Forever Tango," touring the Americas, Europe and Asia.

o participation in "Tango Pasión", within a cast of prominent veterans and alongside the prestigious "Sexteto Mayor," directed by Jose Libertela and Luis Stazo.

o participation in "I TANGO", in 2007, touring the United States with a most distinguished group of artists.

o most recently, Cesar has shared the stage with Tango's most illustrious contemporary dancers, artists of the early 80's rebirth of Tango, dancing in the extraordinary company "Tango Argentino", created and directed by Claudio Segovia and Hector Orezzoli.

About his teaching:

Cesar Coelho has the ability to explore movement, discerning its difficulties, and transforming it into natural movement within the dynamic of an individual or a couple. He applies his ingenuity to the body and spirit of the dance in order to achieve deeper comprehension within the language of Tango.

Now in his early 30's, Cesar is a dynamic Tango dancer and excellent instructor. His background in several modern dance forms and his thorough experience with Tango in his native Buenos Aires provides him with an approach to Tango that is ground-breaking while rooted firmly in the traditions of the form. His lessons successfully combine the technical analysis of movement, the sensory interpretation of music, and the true fundamentals of this passionate art.

Cesar continually teaches and performs throughout the world. As one of the most accomplished young Tango dancers of his generation, he holds, alongside his peers, the evolution of Tango in loving hands.
