Thursday, Feb 21 & 28, 7-8pm - SALSA
Salsa is one of the world's most popular dances. It's lots of fun and many clubs play Salsa as well as a number of other Latin favorites like Merengue and Bachata. It is based in Afro-Cuban musical roots and while it originated in Cuba as Mambo, many of its music and dance innovations took place in New York City.

Thursday, Mar 7 & 14, 7-8pm - SWING
Born in the early 30's in Harlem New York, swing dancing was strongly influenced by the Charleston and other dances of the 20's. It is composed of both 6 and 8-count patterns and can be danced to a variety of music, from big band swing to 50's rock 'n' roll music. At the advanced level it's more upbeat form, Lindy Hop, can be done with aerial (overhead) steps which are choreographed and practiced.

ONLY $10 for ALL 4 sessions
