...also great for those working on perfecting their basic balboa patterns, for current swing dancers who want to learn a dance that is comfortable at fast tempos and for other style dancers, such as tango and ballroom students, looking to expand into swing because balboa is danced with an upright posture and frame that is similar to these styles.
This fun dance originated in California in the 1930s and now has a cult following among jazz dance aficionados. Learn how to do the up-hold basic, down-hold basic, come around, toss out, lollies, and more! If you already know your basics, come to class to brush up on your technique and smooth out your transitions.
Rotating monthly topics.
This course should be taken until you are comfortable with all the material. Speak to your instructor if you are interested in moving on to the next level.
