NEW & FREE in April!! It's National Poetry Month: TheaterWorks Tribute to Maya Angelou
To celebrate, Theater Works' Who Tells Your Story? series is paying tribute to the life and work of Dr. Maya Angelou with the release of "Maya Angelou" a new song by Indie folk-pop trio, Bandits on the Run.

In the accompanying panel discussion, "Sing Because You Have a Song," Bandits on the Run moderates a conversation between Arkansas community leaders (Dr. Janis F. Kearney, Founder of Celebrate! Maya Project), teachers (Stacey McAdoo, 2020 Spirit of Maya Awardee), artists (Leron McAdoo, poet and educator) and students about the impact of Dr. Angelou's work.

By celebrating Maya we hope to inspire young people to recognize their own possibilities and feel joy in their lives.

In the spirit of Bandits on the Run's lyric, "Every day is poetry!" you can access the entire Who Tells Your Story? series FREE of charge during the month of April by signing up at:
