Spring Term unveils Swing U's largest course selection to date, featuring 60 sessions across 13 courses.
. International classes / The History of South African Jazz, led by Swing U curator Seton Hawkins; Jazz and the Music of India, co-led by vocalists Kavita Shah and Samarth Nagarkar;
. Historical classes / Redefining the Mainstream: How the Jazz Avant-Garde Community Became Popular, led by Marty Khan; Guitar in the 1960s: Jazz, Blues, and Fusion, led by Jake Hertzog; a Series examining Jazz at Lincoln Center's lodestar Duke Ellington honors his 125th birthday, and includes special classes on Ellington soloists taught in rotation by master artists Walter Blanding, Jon-Erik Kelso, and Bria Skonberg, among others; the Music of Sarah Vaughan, led by Gillian Margot, celebrates The Divine One's centennial.
