*ARGENTINE TANGO / GUEST ARTIST ERIC JORISSEN*
Argentine Tango in June w/ Guest Eric Jorissen
Sat & Sun, Jun 17 & 18, 2-4:30pm
FaceBook Invite

This is Eric's biannual visit to New York. The topics of his workshops are very enticing:

Sat, Jun 17, 2-4:30 pm: Rhythm
(in tango, milonga, & waltz) cortados, embellishments, and sacadas
Sun, Jun 18, 2-4:30 pm: Blues
(in tango & waltz) turns, barridas, and tiger eyes

The music for Eric's workshops will be TANGO MUSIC ...
Normal, familiar, Golden Age tango music from Argentina contains a strong element of rhythm, and, often, an expression of sorrow, nostalgia, loss, longing, or you might call it the blues. We can express each of these musical, and emotional, qualities of tango music in our dancing.

This pair of classes work best when both are taken, but we understand you might only be able to take one. Each class time slot is 2.5 hours, which includes a 10-15 minute break.
