Brigitta Winkler is a master teacher (check out www.brigittatango.de) who leads tango workshops all over the world, and lives in both Berlin and NYC. Her insight, inspiration, precision and pedagogy make her a beloved mentor of many lovely dancers.

Touch: underlying all of tango, touch is a sense essential to our very survival. Touch that nourishes us is more powerful than we might realize.

Flow: your natural state of being, though it can be hard to reach sometimes! and still the most powerful state to be in while dancing tango.

We will explore how movement travels through the body from the point of contact to the desired tango move. We'll study the HOW of tango steps more than the WHAT, using tango concepts like embrace, walk, change of direction, TIMING and expression.
