Smooth Swing w/ Chris & Courtney - Sun, May 5, 3-6pm (intensive + social dancing)
Intermediate Level (strong knowledge of 8-count shapes like swingouts, and experience dancing with different partners on the social dance floor)
Chris & Courtney Thaler ... you may know them from the drop-in lessons at Industry in Huntington, LI. Now you can take an intensive workshop with them!
They will lead you through their favorite parts of smooth swing, a style that isn't as bouncy like most Lindy Hop today but is instead more relaxed and subtle. They'll go through some of the technique required for this style of swing dance including strong stretch, counterbalance, and connection with your partner.
