The Basic Tango Curriculum should be completed prior to starting this level of study. You should get the approval of your instructor.
We continue to work in the basic topics of tango except the elements are combined in more challenging structures and many variations are introduced. We continue to focus on one topic per month. A topic is more than a step. A topic is a concept that applies to a family of steps. As pre intermediates we want to begin to see the scope and creative possibilities of those "families". We keep layering Musicality, Navigation, Relation to floor and Influence on the partner.
