Brazilian Zouk is a dance that derives from Brazilian Lambada. With the end of the Lambada Bands, it was started to be danced to Zouk Music (a dance from the French Islands in Central America). Recently, it's influenced by contemporary dance; creating a sexy, flow. Come enjoy this new style of dance that has spread all over the world.

This dance style has a free flowing feel to it.
Zouk has become really popular not only in Brazil, but also all over United States, Europe and is becoming more popular in nyc. You can dance zouk in some clubs around nyc such as Solas Bar.

If you are new to Zouk, it's important to know that it can be danced to a great range of music, like lyrical, R&B, Pop remixes, Acoustic, Kizomba and Reggaeton. There are some artists and songs you can listen to, such as: Zyan - Pillowtalk, Anselmo Ralph - Super Homem, Shawn Mendes - Mercy, Dru - Don't be afraid, or any songs from DJ such as Kakah Batista.
